It was a cold, drizzly day on the 19th of "June-uary" for Winter Vashon as 26 boats competed in PHRF and Cruising class races around Vashon Island. Though it was current, rather than wind, that got the boats off to a 9:15am start (or forced some to work their way back to the start to round the mark), enough wind showed up around the course so that all boats finished by 6pm. A guest dock party for participants sharing race results topped off the evening.

Jack Rabbit, Salsa, and Wiki Wiki respectively won classes A, B, and C. Jack Rabbit was the fastest boat on the water and finished the 31.7 mile course in 6:31:03. Wave Walker and Silver Breeze won their 18 mile cruising class races.
