This year, the Tacoma Yacht Club will celebrate our 120th year as a yacht club and 100 years of incorporation by the State of Washington making us the oldest continuing club in Puget Sound. This organization has thrived and continues to thrive as the result of the dedication and tireless service of so many members over all of those years. We enjoy a strong financial foundation that assures us that we will be able continue the rich traditions and culture that define our club. The Tacoma Yacht Club has established strong and continuing ties to the community by partnering with organizations to promote our community as a boating destination for boaters throughout Puget Sound. We support community water-related activities with vessels, facilities, and expertise in a variety of ways. It is our goal to remain a strong and contributing part of Tacoma and the surrounding area. We enjoy a clubhouse overlooking one of the most beautiful views in Puget Sound. The full service restaurant and club is staffed by a thoroughly dedicated and loyal staff. The restaurant rivals the best dining in all of Tacoma. The moorage basin is a club marina of the first rank. Our outstations provide the boating members wonderful places to gather for cruises and celebrations. Those outstations are continually being upgraded and improved.
But the greatest value for all of us at the Tacoma Yacht Club is found in the friendships that we develop over the years through our boating activities and the numerous social events held throughout the year. The fine facilities that we enjoy provide the places to enjoy our friends and to have some fun. If you are considering membership in a yacht club, we invite you to consider the Tacoma Yacht Club, the premier club in the South Sound.
