.aspx) Tacoma Yacht Club’s Daffodil Weekend is rapidly approaching. This year’s theme is “Boating Locally”. We would like to cordially invite you to join the 73rd annual Daffodil Marine Festival and Parade.
The Daffodil Marine Parade route begins at the Tacoma Yacht Club continuing East along the Commencement Bay shoreline from Dune Peninsula at Point Defiance Park to the Thea Foss Waterway.
The basin crew will be ready to welcome participating yacht clubs and boaters beginning at noon on Thursday, April 10th. If you are coming by boat, we will find moorage for you; however, we cannot always guarantee power, and the use of diesel generators are not permitted if they pose a carbon monoxide health risk to others. Also, we cannot guarantee that you will have pet friendly access to shore so please consider before bringing your pets.
 On Friday afternoon from 2-4 PM join us on the TYC deck for beer and appetizers (while supplies last). There will be a selection process on Friday night at 7 PM for trivia seating and your placement in the Token Parade. At 7:30 PM join us for "An Old Fashion Hoe-Down" themed party featuring music and dancing to DJ "Radio Parties".
TRIVIA - One of the highlights of the weekend is trivia along with the Token Parade on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 PM followed by a Trivia Contest from 2-4 PM. More info coming soon.
Saturday night there is a dinner buffet from 5:30 – 8:00 PM followed by music and dancing with DJ Radio Parties.
Sunday the weekend will culminate with the Decorated Boat Parade along Tacoma waterfront. We are looking forward to seeing your creative efforts!
Each club must register and each boat or RV planning on attending must complete a registration form and pay the registration fee (non-refundable). The registration deadline is March 21, 2025 or until we reach our limit. If you have questions, please refer to our website or email Bentley Rickmers at: [email protected]. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate any boats over 65' in length.

Each participating club’s Commodore and a guest are invited to the reception in the Crow’s Nest of the TYC clubhouse on Saturday, April 12 at 4:30 pm. Dress will be boating casual.
